Illustration Friday: ’80s
This week’s Illustration Friday theme was ’80s.
Ah, yes. The final scene of The Karate Kid. Young Daniel–to the dismay of Cobra Commander–defeats the evil ninja, Storm Shadow, while Mr. Miyagi and Optimus Prime cheer him on. If you don’t remember this part, I recommend watching the director’s cut of the film. This movie taught me a valuable lesson: Anything is possible if you work hard, and your two best friends are an old Okinawan guy and a giant robot that can transform into an 18-wheeler. Precious memories.

Wow. I think your memory of Karate Kid kicks my memory’s butt. I love it! Now that I think of it, wasn’t Strawberry Shortcake played by Elizabeth Shue?
